found a company that embroiders a picture of fjr motorcycle on sweatshirts & jackets. Plus you can add a few lines of script along with pic.

They're alittle expensive, so buy YOURSELF a christmas present, My sweatshirt with pic and script was a little over $60.

The model yrs are 2003 to '06, standard colors for bike are either silver or cobalt blue. you can have bike done in custom colors for you folks with '07 red for a few extra $

I dont know the quality yet,,,, just ordered. I bought size alittle larger than I need incase it shrinks.

Will post again when it arrives if anyone wants to know quality.

Oddly, they give you a nice selection of colored threads, custom colors and even show you what your design and color will look like...what they do not show is the color of the material it will go on...I'm sure I know what Black or Navy looks like, but "Ash" or "light steel-heather grey" are a bit harder to imagine without and actual color chart. I thus retracted my order as I don't know how the design will look on a particular color.

I found samples of the shirt colors on the site, but I couldn't see how the image looked actually ON the color I chose.

When you go to the order form, there is a small box "view apparel colors" that appears under 'COLOR'. But Jill is right, you have to imagine what the image will look like on the background color of the clothing..........

I wouldn't put a silver fjr on a steel gray shirt, or blue bike on blue shirt, but thats me. Plus I think the script is black writing, wouldnt go well on black shirt

On the bottom of the first page of the order form is a box labeled "view thread colors". When clicked a pop-up box with a lot of sample colors come up. Now, I have not ordered anything to completion, so I don't know, but I ASSume there is an option for thread color; if not, probably a custom order (by calling or something) is required. I think no writing would be cool myself.

DISCLAIMER: I have absolutely nothing to do with this product, company, website or anybody that works for them. Just trying to help.

EDIT: Heck, I went the extra steps for those too "time constrained" :p to look it up. The toll free number to talk to the company in Chelmsford, MA is Toll Free Phone: (866) 644-0280

OK. Got the pop up that shows the material colors. Seems you have to fill in all the boxes before the color choice box before it will show it. Even got a nice email from Doug at Autumriders explaining how to find this.

So, ordered two sweatshirts..in "Ash"... Both with my 2006 FJR pictured (Coblat blue). Above the bike it will simply read " FJR 1300" in block letters, and below the design , it will read in script "Pilot" on one, and "Co-pilot" on the other for my wife.

Groovy, one more Xmas present out of the way..............

Now that's cool! Keep us posted...
recieved sweatshirt, about a 10 days from order to recieved.

anyone ordering one with an "06 cobalt blue"(which is a dark navy),,,,, change colors !!! the blue's so dark , you cant distinguish it from the black seat, fender from tire.

Change to a lighter blue in the custom selection.

As for the actual embroidery picture , it's pretty good and accurate. Nice tight stitch with a backing material on inside of shirt. Should last years without fraying.

Sweat shirt, not a 43 dollar shirt. medium weight material

Once again,,, go with a lighter color for 06 blue

now that you have seen it, would you buy it again?

Nope, not at the end price, think it was $43 (which was a rip off/maybe a $10-12 shirt) for the sweatshirt plus $12 for embroidery (thats normal rate around my area), probably was shipping (dont remember),a couple bucks for writing/script,,,,,,,, to expensive. I'd pay 30-35 for the whole nut, delivered

Think the gouging price of sweatshirt thru eveything off $30
