I copied this from another site. Please don't jump on me. I'm just passing this on. Both the FJR and it looks like the C-14 are great ST bikes.

I am a 2004 Yamaha FJR owner living in So. Cal. Kawasaki provided me with a new Concours 14 for the past two weeks. It pays to know somebody....sometimes! WHAT A BIKE!!! I'm 6'1" 235 lbs. The seat was perfect, the windshield was perfect, handlebars perfect too! Those were all modified on my FJR. I've riden them all and Kawasaki designed the best SPORTtouring bike available today, by a landslide! This is going to put alot of pressure on Yamaha, Honda, BMW, Moto Guzzi, and others. Rode it in the desert, Coastal mountains, High Sierra, over 10,000 feet, way over 100mph for over 20 minutes. Still after all that I averaged 42 mpg! Got to go more later. Snakebite
