HEY ALL....NEW TO THE SITE....MY FIRST TWO QUESTIONS...........

ONE SEAT ADJUSTMENT FOR THE 07 FJR......THE BIKE IAM GETTING WILL NOT COME WITH A OWNERS MANUAL...

THIS IS GONG TO BE THE FIRST THING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, CUZ....IAM A 29 INSEAM....

LOOKING FOR A GOOD SERVICE MANUAL FOR THIS YEAR FJR????

NEED TO START READING.....I PICK THE BIKE UP THIS WEN THE 18TH....NEED TO GET ON THE BALL....ROAD TRIP END OF SEPT...

Yes there are two seat positions, I am guessing you are looking for the lower. Most people ride with the lower position so you are probably already there. There are two things to adjust for the change. First is the plastic tray that is under the seat. It needs to be in the forward position so that the raised pads do not contact the seat. You lift the rear part of the plastic tray and move it to line the H or L with the mark on the side. The tongue goes into the lower groove behind the tank. Really easy. For the higher position there is a plastic thing that blocks off the upper tongue position so if it is there, you are low riding. An easy way to tell if you are already low is by looking at the gap from the seat to the side panel. if the gap is small you are in the low. High position shows the gap to be an inch or more.

For maintenance service you can do most with information provided on www.FJR1300.info or Warchilds site www.FJRTech.com.

Wow! This is exactly why I love this site. I had no idea that my seat would go down, I'm short so the bike fits me perfectly in the low setting with my modified (reduced padding) seat.
