I called D&H on Saturday and talked to Renna. She told me that they will be getting 28 bikes on Monday or Tuesday (24th or 25th). She said mine would be one of those. I put my order in during the first week of November. Bad news is, I just got told by my doc that I have a very small hernia and I have surgery this coming Thursday. So, after all that waiting I have to wait somemore until I heal and am able to ride. I guess I have to take the good with the bad. What can once do?

Sorry about the surgery but that's life. I ordered mine Nov. 11 and am #17 on the April list. I will be flying to Huntsville May 2. If you and a few others delay picking up your bikes, that will give them more time to assemble mine.

Man, if you've got surgery on Thursday, that's all the more reason to pick up your bike Monday or Tuesday - that's two days of riding you'll be passing up. You know why they call them hernias? Because if they were himnias, you'd never get off that bike and you'd tell that surgeon to pound sand. Heck, what if your doctor botches the job, you push up some daisies, and your FJR gets passed on to that rotten nephew that you can't stand?

Predicting that none of the above has any effect whatsoever, good luck with the stitching and the riding.

I'm with ya. Had a vasectomy on Friday 04/14 and my 06A came in on the next Wednesday. What timing. Didn't pick it up until Saturday. Rode with pain and a big smile. Only managed 250 miles this weekend and those sharp pavement changes were a real *****. FJR1300-Great therapy.

If you would rather wait till mid May when mine comes in to D&H and I'll take yours off your hands. Only trying to help, maybe more me than you. Hope you heal quickly. I put off hernia sugrery for years never caused any problems.
