Duane,

Let me know when you plan on going to Renton, I may tag along, I have a full tank and need to run a lot of gas off before tomorrow.

It'll be early this afternoon likely. I want to get the house vacuumed before I head out. ;)

I'll give you a quick call. :)

If I can swing my leg over the seat, I might come down to see what the hell a spider is.........

Hope you are feeling better Stephen! :)
As long as I'm asleep, it doesn't hurt!

Seems I pulled some internal man-tubage as well as tendons, etc. Been on a steady diet of ibuprofen.

Also, pertaining to gear... I need to protect my hip area more. The doctor said that's where most of the nasty damage is done when one falls like I did. The little hip piece did its job (sorta)... but it's too thin. So, when I wear those particular pants (Joe Rocket Ballistic), I will wear my Bohn armor.

Hijack over.

Gents and Hudson,

I need a 5mm hex bolt removal tool that I can put some muscle behind. I am removing the air bypass plate things and replacing with the uber cool ones from Panman. But those bolts are very stout and loc-tited to boot. I have all but one broke free, but they still turn with great difficulty. A t-handle would work. Even better, a 5mm built into a socket so that a 3/8 driver with extension could be attached. Bring something if you got it.

BTW - I did have those bypass thingies blocked off with rubber caps. Most of which are already cracked and about to let go. Just sayin.

David,

I will bring 5mm hex for a 3/8 drive.

...regarding the 5 mm hex. I have a short arm allen with a sharp tip that I had to use when I changed the plates last weekend. Once broken loose I could spin it out with the 3/8" drive unit. See you in the (wet) AM.

I'll bring a hex head socket, plus my t-wrenches. Plus a buncha other tools in case people need em.

No can make it, all. Looks like another week.... maybe. Watching the Turkish GP. Wow!

Have fun!

Here comes the rain..........

I have got to give Bryan (AuburnFJR) an official shout out for "helping" me do my chores by actually doing my chores. Wow. Fast too.

It was supposed to be a beautiful sunny day in the upper 60's. Instead it was drizzly and hovered around 55 for the day. A few pics:

First of all, long distance award goes to Jerry. All the way from Connecticut, can you believe it? He needed three more states to conquer all the US and Canada and had just been through Cali and Ore-gone. He spent a couple of hours with us and knocked out a needed oil change. Then, headed for Idaho. He had 4500 miles on the trip when he made it to our little gathering. Jerry is on the far right about to make his escape. Escapefjrtist, sportsguy, and jamesw from left to right.

See the plate below, his forum name and some proof he really was from CT. Hope he doesn't have plate posting paranoia.

Ahchiu's bike below being de-spidered. Or de-spydered. De-spayed. Whatever...

JayH's rig getting his 4 cylinders synced with a 3 cylinder syncing tool. Worked out fine.

My bike all ready for Bryan to "show me how". One more lesson after the next 20,000 miles and I might understand.

Toys...

A couple of Micr@softies looking for the CTR-ALT-DEL in the bikes nether parts...

One of these things, is not like the others, one of these things is just not the same. (Marcus brought his buddy Vinny (Vinnie?). Great guy, fun to have around, might let him ride with us some day. In the back).
