FJR1300A CA model for NJ use - downside?

I see few used 2006 models available in CA. If I were to buy and have it shipped to NJ, what's the downside in terms of emission mods done to CA models? Does this imply reduced performance, etc.?

Nada!! Only a charcoal canister is the difference. Plus you can always add a PCIII for extra tuning.

Nada!! Only a charcoal canister is the difference.

And an extra sticker assuring CA DMV of meeting the smog requirements. Other than that they're the same. Because of the charcoal cannister you will want to be cautious when fueling as extreme overfilling can vent into the cannister and may cause issues.

The "downside" is that you'll have to take a week off work and ride it home...oh heck, darn, drat and pshaw!
