Hello FJRay: When we last rode together at WFO-6 you mentioned you owned a Royal Enfield Interceptor, I had a 1967 Norton Atlas 750. Yesterday, the May/June 2008 Vol 3 No. 5 copy of Motorcycle Classics came and your RE is featured bike.

The beautiful chrome tank and nice engine shot is on the cover; a nice five page detailed story by Robert Smith from 46-50.

Got my copy yesterday and that was the first thing I read. Mine is a 67 mk1a and has a painted tank instead of the chrome but otherwise is the same and if I dust it off it is almost as nice. They are right about the brakes. You need to check your day planner to see if you have time to stop. Good thing it has plenty of compression to slow you down.
