Once in a while I get a big number after I turn on my 2610. It'll think it's acquired a position, but it's wrong, and when it corrects, it thinks it moved really fast to get there. 650+ is my best so far.

Yep! Or lose the signal in the forest or a tunnel. IIRC, mine is now at 247 mph and I don't bother to reset the Max Speed.

I've had it up much higher, but this is the best of the last little ride.

Above about 480mph I get a high-speed wobble, but it smooths out again around 530mph.

Thinking about getting Scotts Steering Damper(image) for the FJR ....as reloading my gun(image) at such speeds is a bit dicey when it's raining.

My name on the Bikeland web site is 1393kph - for the obvious reason.

Once had a smartass cop who though he would be cute reach over and press the appropriate buttons on the 276c - the look on his face when he saw that number was priceless.
