Didn't know they were expecting rain at Laguna, but glad they had the girls there just in case! Sorry I missed this year, the heat 2 years ago was oppressive, girls running around half naked, it was horrible!

Those are good for keeping out of hot sun as well! Rain or shine! :clapping: :yahoo:

LaRoo....wow, those are nice pictures! I hope you are there next year. I was unable to get the parade lap as they were sold out, but after parking on Wolf hill, I will not make that mistake again!

Loki, I have been there the last 2 years. I ride up with a friend of mine who rides a VFR800. This year we met up with a couple of the VFRD's Forum members at Shakey's at Santa Barbera and then took Highway 1 up to Monteray. The couple we met up with were Dave and Kerry from VFRD. Dave rides a VFR800 while his wife Kerry rides a Hayabusa. You have to love a wife that rides a Hayabusa!!! They were nice people.

If I get the same passes as this year and get access to the corkscrew, I will certainly try to take pictures of all the FJR's on the parade lap. If I do I will post them up again next year. With all those bikes on the parade lap it gets a little hard to pick out all the FJR's!!

Yeah. We rode up that same way on Friday, stopping at the pit stop in SLO. I won some free tickets to the IMS show, and a T-shirt. The 1 is still one of the nicest highways to ride on, even though the fire took its toll. How did you like the wind up north of Big Sur? I swear I saw it PICK UP my father and nephew (riding 2-up) in front of me (he rides a VStrom) and set him down 2 feet left around a right hander. The FJR handled it better, but I had brought only warm weather riding (mesh jacket, etc) gear, so was a little unhappy that last 20 miles into Carmel.

Very cool. If all goes well, I'll be 2-up an an 06 AE (silver, of course) with my (then) 10 yr old son. I am sure some folks on here will find themselves in the pictures you posted and appreciate that you did that. It was a very nice gesture! Seems every year I see more FJRs up there, so I understand how hard it can be to get pictures of them all. There was a time when this was a very rare bike!

LaRoo, That was totally righteous of you man ! Thanks for sharing....FJR's look so awesome on a track, especially 2 up!

Blessings,

Bobby
