True story. I just got a text from my friend who's on vacation. He is driving in his truck across Arkansas when all of a sudden a guy in a pickup blows by him at about 100 mph out of nowhere. It scares the crap out of him cause he didn't even see the truck before it was past him. He realizes he'd better be paying closer attention and checks his mirrors. He almost panics when he notices that there's a black motorcycle right on his tail and he doesn't know whether to accelerate or brake.

Then he remembers he'd trailering his bike.

Worst part was, it was a ghost motorcycle. No rider.

How come this is in the joke section? It's not so funny if it's happened to you.

There've been times when I'm out riding I've noticed someone real close on my tail out the corner of my mirror then realized it's just my givi trunk...

Cute story, Goodman. But fess up. There is no friend, is there? It was really you.

I sure wish it was me. Cause that would mean I would've been on vacation riding the pig trail in NW Arkansas instead of the crappy week I had here.

Even worse than being followed by your bike with a ghost rider is almost being passed by your bike with a ghost rider. Hitch broke. Bike and trailer remained upright and stayed on pavement until almost stopped, then rolled gently to a halt on the roadside.
