The item he is offering is a replacement for a clutch spring - nothing to do with suspension.

Longevity of the clutch spring is not a common problem but some people like the "feel" and engagement characteristics of an aftermarket spring.

As far as suspension is concerned, they do wear out - particularly the rear shock. But that's a topic that has been discussed MANY times (do some searching).
