Fork Brace for 06

Has anyone put on a fork brace for an 06 FJR? I just called MCL and he did not know if it will work or not as he has not measured an 06 yet for the fit. Have the forks changed for the 06 or the spacing of the forks? Anyone? I go to pick my 06 up on 13 May and I would like to get a fork brace put on prior to the 654 mile ride back home from D&H. Thanks all.

Basically what you may pick-up in fork stiffness, you may give up on suspension compliance due to sticktion (i.e. the fork brace may put inward or outward pressure on the forks and cause them to bind a little)
