Agree. Klaus told Slapnpop to use 80mm with his 12.0 spring, he told me to use 90mm with my 11.5 spring, and the slimjims are being advised to use 100mm.Use what Klaus wrote down on your paperwork.
Sorry, I guess I don't get a gold star for clear writing on that response. Yes, I was referring to the size of the shock spring that Wilbers selected for the various rider weights and using that as a guideline to how Klaus is adjusting his recommended air space in the fork springs. As far as I know, the fork springs are one size fits all.Would you elaborate on your description of "12.0" & "11.5" fork springs?Wilbers fork springs are only one-size-fits-all as far as I know.
Are you referring to the shock springs?
COOL I was going to ask this question but now I don't have to. I love this board. :agent:Sorry, I guess I don't get a gold star for clear writing on that response. I specified a 240 pound rider weight without any gear (or preload) and both the 11.5 shock spring and the fork spring setup with 90mm airspace feels pretty good. I currently am running 3 lines of preload on the fork spring with the damping and rebound adjustments in the middle positions.
