I need to readjust my forks in the tripple clamp. Most bikes I've had require that the top surface of the fork be a couple mm above the top surface of the triple clamp. I looked at the owners manual for the FJR and it appears to say that the top surface of the fork should be flush with the top of the triple clamp. Can anyone confirm this? I have a 2007 model.

Thanks,

Dave

It can be anywhere from flush to .400 above. Factory is flush on an '07.

Consider it confirmed B)

Factory Service Manual says:

INSTALLING THE FRONT FORK LEGS

The following procedure applies to both of the

front fork legs.

1. Install:

• front fork leg

NOTE:

• Make sure that the inner tube end is flush

with the top of the upper bracket.

• Temporarily tighten the upper and lower

bracket pinch bolts.
