forks on fjr 1300 A

My 2011 Fjr 1300 A was just totaled out.  The forks were adjustable on both sides for compression and rebound.  Just looked at a new 2019 and found that only one side has adjustments.  Seems to me they have Dumbed it down to save money, or do they work as well as the older style ?  Thanks

IIRC, one side does compression, and the other side does rebound.  No biggie.  Yamaha not the only one doing that.  And I have yet to see a bad review of the stock suspension of a Gen III or later.

The RH fork leg has the compression and rebound adjusments. Box stock, the GEN IIIs are set up pretty well if you're riding single and don't push things too hard.
