FOUND Switched fuse box (centech, fuzebox, EB PC-8, Etc)

Hey Y'all; I need a 3 circuit or larger switched fuse box.

Anyone have an extra lying around? I'm not looking for a free-bee (but I wouldn't say no either).

Consider a barrier strip with a relay as a low cost alternative that should provide all the functionality. Do a search on barrier strip and/or have a look at the following link.

I use an Eastern Beaver and really like it. They have different options, including 3 circuit, and even FJR specific kits.

Thanks, I have a PC-8 and harness on another bike. I was hoping to not spend $120, although I do like his hardware a lot. I've been buying stuff from Jim for the past 10 years.

You could do a barrier strip that is switched (with a relay) and one that is always hot. This gives you the connections available in the Fuzeblock although you would still have to fuse each of the circuits separately. Cost is pretty cheap and the barrier strips don't take a lot of space. I have a FZ-1 on my FJR but the next time I might go that route.

I'm using this budget unit and have been happy with it. Everything I've added electric to the bike goes through it. Less than $37

To have it be a switched unit, I used this 40 amp relay triggered off of the key switch to supply power directly from the battery through a 30 amp main fuse. Less than $7

Ebay... look for ANY yamaha fuseblock... I got a 5 block for a yamaha quad thing.. A little hunting online and you will find the wire to make it switched. looked just like the fuseblock on the rightside by the battery.

Easy Peasy... It was $5.00
