I bought a set from partspak in Milledgeville. Spray painted them with "peel" paint. So come spring, if I decide I don't like black, or want to restore them to the factory (gray) color, easy to remove. Won't install them until it gets cold. I think handguards would work better -if I wasn't running a setup that would make them hit before lock. Otherwise it'd be barkbusters for sure.

1) Which model, and how do they mount to the bar/mirror/grip?
2) Do the 'Ghost' ones look weird? ( ... because I like them ...)

Sorry I missed your question a month ago.

I believe I used the MEB7218 which is made for hydraulic clutch. They mount under the lever pivot bolt, I found a set of bolts to replace my stock FJR bolts that came from a KLR which provide a female threaded end which I used to mount these handguards.

Thanks! I'll be calling them tomorrow ... black mounts with the 'ghost' guards.
