Four Years Ago

It is difficult for me to get my head around the fact that this was four years ago, today.

One the one hand, the memory remains so vivid that it seems like it was only yesterday.

On the other hand, it feels as if it could not have really happen at all or, if it did, that it happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far way.

Thanks, JDog, for this treasure (remember that, at the time, no one had a GoPro on their helmet)!

Wow. Hard to believe it was 4 years ago. I remember the ride down with madmike, staying at my Dad's in Simi (gone 3 years and 2 days now), riding up to Goleta, the memorial service, images and stories about Tim, glad to see OM out of the hospital and in attendance, the dinner, Patti, riding to KJ's for the night via Cachuma and Foxen Canyon, Hwy 1 to Monterey for lunch with a friend the next day, and then the ride to Fair Oaks and sweet comfort for the night, . . . under the helmet, deep in reflection, -- remember it like it was yesterday. Yet so much has changed in that time. So, so very much. :huh:
