Frame Sliders

Now that the horses are out of the barn... I'm buying some sliders. I've been looking at the ones from Motovation Accessories; one of the things they tout is the fact that theirs are strong but not so strong as to transfer too much energy to the frame. Any thoughts, opinions or usage experience with those or others?
