It's hot. I'm talking miserable hot. The entire world is a sauna. The air is heavy - my huge nose cuts through it as I walk from place to place. The sun beats down on me like there's a magnifying lens over my head and I fear that at any given moment I might spontaneously combust into oblivion. Occasionally we get a summer shower which brings relief for approximately 7 minutes, then the steam rises and I feel like I'm treading within the pool at Ole Faithful. In the morning, you couldn't buy a wind with any amount of money. In the afternoon, a light sea breeze blows like an acetylene torch and I liken the experience to sitting inside of a Maytag clothes dryer running on "high" setting. Frankly, it sucks here now.
But I don't give a ****. I'm going riding tomorrow anyway.
