Free Breakfast and Dirt Bike Ride to Young for lunch at the Antlers; maybe FR300 back home after we reach AZ Highway 260.  Can be ridden by street bikes!

Help out the club and enjoy some free coffee and donuts at the rally packet stuffing party.

Stuffing starts at 9:00AM on Saturday May 12th.

Usually finished up in an hour or so.

Dual Sport Bike Riders and Accomplished Street Bike Riders: Plan on attending the AZ Beemers Rally Packet Stuffing Party on Saturday, May 12th at 0900.

This usually last an hour, so we'll depart Gilbert at 1000.  If you can't start your riding day in Gilbert, meet us up at Los Hermanos in Superior at 1100 hours.

NOTE: I've ridden the road from Lake Roosevelt to Young and on to Highway 260 on a 1984 Harley-Davidson FLH Electra-Glide Shovelhead; it can be done!!

BONUS: When I reach 260 I'll cross over to Woods Canyon Lake and onto Forest Road 300 to Strawberry Lodge for apple pie and sweet tea.  Yummy, Yum!

If you have any questions concerning this Saturday 5/12 ride please contact BeemerDonS at either 480-440-4666 or [email protected] Let's Ride Dirt!!!

Hello J,

We should arrive at Highway 260 by 3pm; after riding The Desert to Tall Pines Roadway and having lunch at The Antlers.  If you also ride Forest Route 300, which is entirely optional and I am not 100% sure that I am actually going to do it myself, then do not plan on returning to Phoenix before 8pm.

Best regards,

Don Stanley

Subject: Ride on 5/12

I'm hoping to join the group in Superior but since I'm not familiar with the

route I was wondering how many hours I should allocate for the ride.

Great News! Offroad dirt bike Mexico riding Amigo Tucson Joe is now going on this ride, Jose and I rode all through Copper Canyon. Rode from Creel to Sea of Cortez!

Nothing technical on Saturday 5/12's trek, so easy rushes and fjrrider could make it. Perhaps even dcarver and yamafitter could hack it, maybe! But it's a long day's ride!

Had a good time, but 460 miles on a DRZ is just to much for this old man.

Didn't get home till 8:30. Found out the tail light and brake light quit working.

Now I have something to do today.

Thanks Papa Chuy for a good ride.

Depends is a very important topic at our age.

Luckily I didn't need them on this ride.

Here's a look at the results of Poco Fire on the Desert to Pines Trail leading from Lake Roosevelt to Forest Lakes, AZ. Another Excellently Crafted Ride Report from Jo and Hal, Thank You Folks!

Hal and I rode to Young yesterday to check out the fire damage from the Poco fire, and also eat at the new Antlers restaurant! It's been open almost a whole year already, it will be on July 14. You should go there, it's amazingly clean and modern!

Here is the story, posted on my blog:
