I'm back "IN" on this deal--Friday night for dinner and Saturday for breakfast anyway. :yahoo: So please have 'em set another place at the tables for me, Tyler? Decided I could make the afternoon wedding I'm committed to on Saturday and still see the folks. As it gets closer, I'll be looking into finding the group somewhere along your route between the Thursday night stop and Santa Clara and riding along for a while with you. So I'm back to looking forward to this deal instead of brooding and sulking that I couldn't do it! :)

yes i am, will be just like camping............ :dribble: :dribble:

EDIT: and that's great Mike that you are going to be able to make some of the weekend's festivities.

Are you going to be able to ride on Wednesday or Thursday in the Sierras or Lake Tahoe?

Hey Weaton, When you get to Fortuna, Be sure to leave plenty of time for evening entertainment at the local Flat Beer Brewery. the only consolidation is the horseshoe pits and the nearby sheep farm. I will putt the 17 miles down the highway to hoist a overly hopped flat assed ale (Ail) with you. Bottom Fermentators rule!

...Maybe Niehart will make part of this trip?

Dan
I hear that if you offer pie, Niehart will ride along as long as you keep him supplied.

To heck with Dave, I'll have a nice large slice of that pie Please!! Whip Cream too?? :D :D

So wheatie...been trying to keep up on your excellent adventure. I seem to recall (although I can't find it now) that y'all are meeting for breakfast at Alice's on Saturday morning. Still the plan?

Panman and I are making the trek down for a quick visit...(we're twisting Niehart's & maybe Jay-H's arms too). We'll either leave really early Friday morning and do a blast or put some miles in Thursday night to make Friday easier. Gotta high-tail it back north to work Monday...unless I feel a cold coming on.

Set a place for us at the table and if we get an early enough start...Friday dinner too! I can't wait for some serious lane sharing. ;)

Yup, that's the overall plan.

Will be good to see the PNW crew down this way to share some fun and frivolity in our neck of the woods! :clapping:

Looking forward to the trip.

I am in need of TOH location pictures now that I'm in! Probably have a lot of riding to catch up on. So I best get started!

...I presume you guys will be at Bodega Bay Sat night as well, and Fortuna on Sunday night when you start feeling that cold <cough> coming on?
We'll see. ;) Even if I take Monday off, Fortuna to Seattle is a solid half-day ride!

That's perfect, you could take the Monday route until it gets to near Yreka, then head north from there! Monday it is...right? :D

Ok, So My work took me by the Eel River Brewery yesterday morning, and the three motels are, Next to the Brewery is Super 8, next to Super 8 is Howard Johnsons Express, across the street from HoJo is Best Western, who has the nicest breakfast bar, and behind the brewery/Super 8 is Comfort Inn, All of these motels are fairly new, the newest is comfort suites. all within a 2 minute walk to the brewery and a 15 minute crawl back, The Brewery has nice outdoor seating w/heating, and some nice horseshoe pits, They do have a great steak, and of course, greasy pub food.. Natures own laxative.
