I was warming up my 08A to change the oil and after a few minutes noticed smoke from the manifold/exhaust area. A closer inspection revealed no oil leak from the filter or drain plug. Upon further examination, I found a slight drip from the bottom bolt at the front drive shaft housing. this is directly behind the shifter. There is absolutely no other fluid staining anywhere else. I snugged all three bolts up (they were not loose) and no longer noticed the drip. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Should I take it into the dealer as it is still under warrany?

On the early bikes it was a problem on some. My 03 had to be done twice and was done under warranty. The bad part is that the bolts are longer than there is room in the frame so the engine has to move foward a little. It might be easier on the gen2 but I don't know for sure. I would do the dealer if there is a good one near you.
