I've been looking at them, too. Both gun dealers in town recommend them (independent of each other, I might add).

Anyone have any experience with this outfit?

I would have to spend a lot of time listening through podcasts to make sure, but I think that is the outfit that Tom Gresham would not comment on when a caller asked him what he thought. That usually is an indicator. He usually recommends Gunsite and Thunder Ranch. I have not taken any courses, but I certainally do recognize many of the names of instructors.

No personal experience but I've shot with a bunch of guys who have been happy with the training enough to get the memberships. The place definitely has the big picture in mind regarding marketing. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the big training sites Jekirby mentions. Finding one you can drive to is nice to avoid the gun check and ammo ship headaches.

I can vouch for Thunder Ranch, the older Texas flavor. Clint Smith has a good slant on the realities of a gun fight and doesn't get too caught up in the go-fast tactical crap a lot of people think they need.

based on a web site that yammers at you as soon as you hit it? na. fortunately poor web site concept doesn't always translate into poor training.

most training depends on where you and or your ability to afford to travel elsewhere. Gunsite and the several facilities started by it's cadre has my thumbs up. Col Cooper hath wrought a fine family.
