Front suspension

Has anyone ever tried, or is it even possible to substitute the front forks from our FJR's with different USD forks from another Yamaha model type bike, and if so is there really any benefit? I know it's only Wednesday, but I can't wait until Friday.

With enough $$$, USD forks from the ES could be a bolt on OE replacement. GEN IIs and IIIs are doable...your vintage non-ABS GEN I would take a bit more effort.

I've seriously considered it for my '15A. Is the change worth it? Only you can determine that.
