If you're tired of not being seen by all of the distracted drivers on the road and want to be a lot more conspicuous, you should consider installing a modulator on your high beams.

I've used modulators on every bike that I've owned since 1992 and they do exactly what they're supposed to do... they get you noticed!

This unit is very easy to install. Just disconnect the plugs from your headlights, insert the three spaded wires into the one of the plugs, connect the new Kriss plugs on each of your two headlights and then zip tie the automatic light detector to a clutch or brake hose.

This unit was used for only a few months before I sold my 2006 and retails for $149.95 at www.kriss.com

Sort of interested:

So, does that mean that the power for both headlamps comes down the original feed line for one lamp? Then through the Kriss unit and out the two plugs? Where did you mount the ambient light sensor? I assume that's the little black nub of a thing below the control box in the pic. Thanks!

ON the Kriss you plug those spade lugs into one of the headlight sockets and the sockets into your light bulbs - little to no extra loss (you'd be surprised at how much drop there is in the stock wiring).

Yes, that little black 'nub' is the photo sensor. While I use a different make of modulator, on my ride I have the sensor sneaked so that it just peeks through the top edge of the right side slot opening for the control arm of the windshield.
