Shameful, RenoJohn; absolutely shameful; you ****** poor old SkooterG out of this 2004 FJR and then you've the nerve/gall to write an outstanding ride report on it!

Ha, Ha: Just kidding around, mi Hermano Juan! Screw Skoot and the Dirty Old Whore he rode in on! Glad you wound up with a nice and fast Generation One FJR, Bro!

Nice RRR (ride report Reno). Looks like you missed the Barber Motorsports Museum (next time?), but taking in the OK City Memorial is probably better for the soul. The hottie you took a pic of in the Ozarks, did you get her number? (no not for me, but there are guys here on the forum that will surely be hitting you up for it). I agree on the Gallup assessment, anytime I've gone through there, it was at WOT. Glad the deal went smoothly, but then everyone I met while down that way was Uber nice. Thanks for the memories.

puttin' the dig into old scrotum-chin Greg was really the hickory on the stove as far as this adventure was concerned.

I was going to tell him how the bike exceeded all expectations, and all the extra's that Nolan threw in with it, including SS lines, case of oil, numerous filters, brand new saddles, new OEM shield ......I'll stop there, but I could go on and on.

right bike, and opportunity that could not be passed up ...and both skooter and I were quick to identify that. The timing was just a bit better for me. -next time it'll be the other way around.

Thank you so much for the kind words John. I had a great time meeting you and your friends.... Even with the Little John prank!

Very cool trip report home and you need to get that damn camera fixed. It's got me weighing 20Lbs more than I am. :p

Correct you are sir on Gallup NM. Been there and done that. Glad they have a room there when the butt starts dragging though. :D

Take care John and hope to see you again sometime in the future for whatever reason may come along.

i ate lunch at this store on my way to NAFO
LOL, that guy that tried to run out of my picture ...in the red plaid shirt is the guy who makes the sandwiches. Nice fellow, odd, but nice. A person could sit at that store for a good lifetime and ponder the comin's-and-goin's and keep the mind pretty active.

Awesome on all Nolan. I'm thrilled it all worked out as it did, ...and what a pleasure meeting you. The world needs more folks like ya. and Yep, Gallup sucks ...but I did think of ya when I made a stop in Tonopah :)

Really cool report John :clapping: And as always, great pics.
thanks guyz, next time you two need to come along an supervise, I really need some supervision.

Enjoyed the RR, shocked that you could find an 04' with less miles on it than when I found mine.....Great Kharma I suppose.

Enjoy the new ride.

Great report John! I was glad to see your beat up mule is replaced by a nice FJR and you'll stay in the fold. I must be weird, I liked Gallup and the pawn shops.

The Ozark Honey Don Stanley can have though...

Best of luck with the new ride.

I'd do her! I mean, she does have a pulse, doesn't she?

I want to know what you were doing in between Laughlin and Beatty. There's about one flower to sniff between those two towns, yet you took all day.
