And so it seems that i am now worthy as a member of the old farts club. My oldest boy Mitchell and his GF had a perfect little baby boy last night @ 1:00 am.

O, Woe is me!!
We have two. They're next-generation offspring, not grandchildren. Sounds more modern, or something.
We're also not old enough. Not even 50 when the first one was born. But wow, what joy it brings to visit them, and hear "Grandpa!" on the phone!

Congratulations Grandpa.
We've joined the virtual age, instead of having traditional grandchildren (which we are nowhere near old enough for yet). Our daughter donated eggs to a family friend, who wanted a child with her new husband. It took a couple of tried but eventually the recipient of the eggs gave birth to two, beautiful healthy baby girls.
The kicker is that the birth mother is SIXTY FIVE years old. Her husband is mid-forties. She's going to try again next year, with the remainder of the batch of eggs.

Congradulations! They are a lot of fun. We have two grand daughters,that are my pride and joy.
