FZ1 mirrors

In the "new owners read this" thread there is mention of FZ1 mirrors fitting an 03 1300.

Do these mirrors fit the 07's?

After picking up my bike I noticed you really cannot see directly behind you.

Yes, the FZ1 mirrors fit the Gen II bikes. They made a world of difference to the rear visibility on my '04.

BUT, you must get the "OldGen" FZ-1 mirrors. The fairing change on the newer models also changed the mirrors.

You would need:

5LV-26280-00-00 REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY (LEFT)

5LV-26290-00-00 REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY (RIGHT)

Agree. Just did this with my 07. Perfect fit, but man are they ugly. Just keeping them on until my backordered stock mirror arrives.

I contacted my local Yamaha dealer and the price was $68.00 per mirror assembly.. ouch Can anyone suggest a vendor that might offer a better price. Form what i have read OEM parts is the way to go.

Might Try Mike at University Motors in Fargo, ND. It may sound crazy to you if you are unfamiliar with them, but they have fast shipping and the best Yamaha OEM prices I can find.

I've got the chinese oem replicas and they are so-so. Price was good, and they were available before wfo 6.

My question is, does the gen II mirrors fit on an 05?

At the time of the purchase i was not able to contact Mike but I will use Mike at University Motors for all purchases. Mike has lowest prices from what i have seen.

I just went through this fiasco with a shop in Florida called GDL Cycles in order to get a left Emgo FZ1 CF mirror, in my first attempt. Their customer service is at the bottom and they shipped the wrong part. Avoid GDL like the plague.
