When out to the garage this morning to do some work. I've got so much jammed in there I can't turn around without tripping over something, impossible to get anything done, and I need to find a spot to bolt down the tire changer.

The only conclusion I can come to is I'm going to have to get rid of some stuff.

After careful and deliberate consideration, and making a check off list of all the pros and cons of having or not having a specific item. I have decided on what I can do without.

Anyone want to buy a lawn mower?

I would say that if you move to California, you can save space with the Porche you will buy (get rid of the Tarus, too wide) and you can ditch the snow shovel. You also can then store some stuff in your hot tub! Then you will have lots of room in the garage.

Yep, sell the mower. Ten cents worth of salt will take care of that yard for ya for at least a year... Other than that, can't really see anything that could be spared in there.

That's cluttered????

My pic posted in a similar thread last fall:

BTW, it's not like that any more, it actually contains my wife's car and my FJR, and a beer fridge. And it was done without using the contents of the red can in the front!

You just don't know how to pack a garage. We have a similar amount of stuff around the edges, a car on the left and then four bikes angled on the right. With those four bikes right up to the wall, two more street bikes will fit into the gap between those and the car. Of course, only the first two bikes and the car can be moved without moving anything else.

(We had a shed out back for the rest of the bikes). :)

I'l take your two car garage in trade of my one!

You can keep your own clutter, as I have my own, thanks!

Build a bigger garage! The garage should be at least twice the size of the living space, tell the SO you read it on the internet. :)

Mine used to resemble that, but I finally broke down and cleaned it all out...almost needed a dumpster I had so much old stuff lying around. I guess I am anal retentive. Did the same thing in the tall crawl downstairs where I have my 'shop' or man cave as my wife calls it. Thats where the heavy duty Gladiator Cabinets really come in handy and can be your best friend. I gotta have everything in it's place or I'll go nuts.

Actually, Wally World just had some nice garage/shop cabinets on clearance around here...they were like 40% off and looked pretty solid if you are interested.

That's the solution, dbvolfan, what's the name of the little yellow car, where's the dealer located. I'll talk the wife into trading her Tarus.

Looks like either a Mini Cooper to me, or possibly one of them Smart cars.
It's one of those new Tata's...we snuck it home in our luggage on our return trip from India. Actually, she just traded it in for the new Barbie Jeep since they have that $2.99 gas deal for 3 yrs!
