Garmin 2610 Problem

Hey Guys

Having a problem with my Garmin 2610 have had it for about 2 years. It always worked great. However now when you go into find to search for a new address that option is no longer available at least from the current starting point. Everything else seems to be working as far a satellite signal but no way to plug in a new address.

Have any of you had this problem before. If so was it a hardware or software problem?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

just a shot in the dark, but...

clear all recent finds, track log etc.

maybe the memory is full

I agree with trying to clear the memory. If that doesn't work, call Garmin and send it in for repair. I guess you could always convince the wife that it is time for a new one.....

Yep!!! Thanks Guys....It needed to be cleaned out....the memory was 99% full plus about fifty old addresses that needed to be cleared....seems to be working again....... :clapping:
