I've had the 2610 for 3 years now and it’s been pretty good.....I'd say 9.5 times out of 10 its gets me right where I'm going.

I won't mention the other .5 times where it wants me to go in a lake, wrong way street, and god only knows what its thinking sometimes. LOL

But other times it’s been worth every penny of the $600 I paid for it. Like between Phoenix and Las Vegas at 3am going down some windy desolate road but it got me to where I needed to go.

Anyway latley its been cutting off for no reason....it seems the cord is fine and I even have a extra cord and both seem to have the same proplem. So I think its internal.

Question should I give it one good serving for say $100 and see if it can be saved or true to the American way trash it and get a new one?

What are the new good GPSes out there now?

Thanks,

Jeff

i replaced my 2610 with a zumo 550...never looked back. Better screen, more bells & whistles, etc. Go for it.

Don't trash the 2610, send it to me instead, I could use the spare parts for mine :p

I'd go with as 550, but I'm to cheap B)

You can get the Zumo 450 cheaper. I went with the 450 because of not only cost, but because tunes and directions are all I am interested in. I don't care about the other features.
