Anybody know what the wiring and voltage is inside a Garmin Nuvi 880 power plug I want to fit it to at aux circuit.

You have an AC adapter with it? Read the label on the adapter, it'll show its output.

If the device charges from the USB port, that'll be 5 volts, but I couldn't give you which pin carries the ground and hot.

Can't directly answer your question, but I can suggest that you can either plug the Garmin cigarette connector into the socket in the glove box or else accomplish what you want without cannibalising the power plug by going to Radio Shack, WalMart or any other automotive part store, buy one of the cigarette lighter splitter cables they sell and cut off one of the sockets. Wire the socket to a switched power circuit on the bike and plug the power cord from the Garmin into that.
