Ok I searched and can't find what I am looking for. I have a 07 and a Garmin 2620. My Bar mount from my Honda won't fit on this bike. Weird bars on the FJ, just my thought. Anyway what are others using to mount the GPS to the bike?

Thanks.

Check this link https://www.bikeeffects.com/search.asp?nobo...price=&pg=4

Then go to the accessories page.

Can't beat Bike Effects, when you order be sure let them know you are a forum member for an extra discount.

I use a stemstand: Lookie here!

I have mine in a locking mount: Lookie here!, but you can shop around to find better deals. It's been 4 years, so I don't remember where I got mine.

Another option would be to consider a shelf, just in case you might add other electronics.

Ok so the locking mount is very self explainatory. I understand how to put them on the bike but how do you mount the GPS to the flat mounts? I have the Garmin install kit from my other bike but again with the flat mounts. I used a old GPS V bar mount and the wiring harness is all from the kit.

I feel stupid having to have this explained to me.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand why anyone would pay $150 for a bracket to mount a $300 navigator. Spend the money on all perils insurance for the navigator and leave it at that - that truly ugly Touratech mount provides almost no protection against theft with the $1 cam lock they use.

Well for me its to keep it safe when I go in somewhere for 10-20 minutes and not have to pull it off and put it back on. Its worth $150 for me to not be stuck in the middle of nowhere (especially if I'm in a rally or a timed ride) with out my GPS.

If it helps, I made my own for my Tomtom. Works very well. Clicky.

Here's my set-up. Very pleased with it. Almost looks factory, which is obviously what I wanted. I'm not a big fan of a cockpit that looks cluttered or "too busy".

All factory gauges and Garmin are clearly visible when riding. I've since moved my GXM antenna to the clutch fluid cap, via Skyway's mount.

This mount came off of my Gold Wing.

I can't find the exact part number, but it's in the RAM-B-309-1 line up. The dementions are the same.

Can you send a picture of it mounted to the bike?
I guess I have to take a picture with the Zumo mounted, but here are some clickable images of the 276c in the same mount . . .

I prefer my installations to be clean and simple - no heavy surrounds or other messes in the way.

Touratech locking mount is da shizzle! the Ram mount has a security screw that replaces the large "wingnut" that's used in this photo for convenience.

Man I need a smaller GPS. Those things are huge. Thanks for the pictures though, I was having a hard time figureing out what you guys were talkiong about when you just said the model and linked me to a picture not on a bike. My mind has been slow the last week or so.

Take advantaqge of riding with other FJR owners. Carry a notepad to make your "wish list".

Warning: Farkle-itis is a disease without a known cure. It is the dark side! However, your creditcard company will loooove you... :(

remember that small screens are harder to see, so it takes longer to figure out what it's telling you = more time with your eye's off the road. details at a quick glance = good.
