I know the firmware update has been out for a couple days, but I thought I'd post just in case anyone missed it. The update from 2.5 to 3.0 seems to be quite large. The altitude and XM weather seem to be great additions.

Here is another forum post with pictures of the update:

irq,

This is excellent info for Zumo users. Having read all of your links, I think I'll wait a little while before downloading the updates, since it looks like there may be a couple of bugs that need to be worked out.

Thanks,

Charlie

I put this on my Zumo 550 the a day or two after it was released and I'm glad they addressed a few of my complaints. Main thing I love from this update is the ability to pan the map while in the middle of a route from the main map screen.

It's been stable so far.

Anyone tried an 8GB SDHC card in it yet now that SDHC's are supported?
