Gen 1 Fuel Cell Mount

Anyone making or selling Gen 1 fuel cell mounts? It seems everyone who posted about these in the past have moved on to other things.

If this is a do-it-yourself mod, can someone post up plans? IF I attempt this, I'm thinking of using a 4 gallon coyote-gear tank or jaz fuel cell.

I saw this one during my searches. I ruled it out for two reasons. First, it would prevent me from using a top case. And second, if I used a 4 gallon tank, that would be about 30 pounds of stress on the rear rack.

I personally have put more than 30 pounds of stuff in my Givi trunk with no problems. Them piled more stuff on the rack on top of the Givi trunk. But why not take that same tank design and make up brackets to fit at the passenger seat position. Then you can use your trunk.

I'll buy a ready-made tank. I'm looking for the brackets you described. Welding my own brackets is beyond my skill level. Drilling and bolting pieces together, I can do. If I have to go to a local fabricator, I'd like to take some design plans with me. Having a local guy build it from scratch would cost me an arm and a leg.
