Gen 2 Stock Exhaust

Would like to buy or trade for stock exhaust. Picked up a 2007 with Two Bros. Exhaust and they're too loud for me and my neighbors.

Is it the same exhaust system for a 2004 model if so you can have my stock cans in exchange??

I don't think so.  Think it fits gen 2&3, but I'll check...if so I will do the swap.

Mine's an '09 and I would do a swap if the '04 isn't a direct swap.

Should fit all year FJR's I have Gen1 exhaust on my Gen 2 FJR. Even the Gen 3 should fit. The only difference is the 2006 and up have a catilist in the exhaust pipe also. The Gen 1's do not.

Dave...does that affect performance or sound?

I bought the Gen 1 pipes and did the trooper mod on them. Yes they are much more throatier now. Seems the original link is no longer available.

Personally, quieter is better for me although the Staintunes on my current bike are nice (baffles installed).
