gen I and gen II exhaust cans interchangeable?

Are the mounting points the same? I'm talking stock cans here gentleman.

The rearsets are different, but the aftermarket cans are interchangeable according to this

thread. Doesn't exactly answer your question, but the Staintune discussion looks promising.
