Gen II fuel cell

I've read the threads on installing the bulkhead fitting but in one discussion there was mention of making sure the fitting on GenII bikes was clear of a heat shield and there were links to a page on the Cal 24 site that came back as "not-found". From the discussion it seems that the placement is different on GenI and GenII. Searching didn't find anything else. This is for a 2009 model.
