Gen II right side mirror hole

Hi all:

If I am looking at this correctly, the Gen II does not have the area to drill out the mirror hole and tap, correct. Does not look like there is room on the right side. Am I missing something?

I believe that is correct.

There is a place already drilled and tapped on the LEFT bar but the right is void of a spot.

Yep, my 07 has nothing on the right and a spot on the left coverd by a plug...
