I'm not sure of your ?
If there is a reduction in the rate/premium, it will be reflected/shown when you receive your annual renewal notice. You will just have to compare it to your previous year/charge. I do not think an insurance company would notify you of a decrease.........or an increase for that matter. Most renewal notices are sent at least 30 days in advance, so you have time to ck your previous year premium for comparison purposes and if you don't like what you see, you usually have about 30 days to shop around and compare rates/quotes from other companies.
I have not heard of a particular insurance company adjusting a rate either up or down during a current premium/policy year. Your insurance policy is actually a contract and they are pretty much obligated to maintain the quote for the year, however, the contract/policy does state that the company has the right to terminate at any time and refund unused premium. Usually, insurance companies run a driver record only once a year, just before renewal time, and if they find moving violations within the year, they will adjust the premium accordingly.
There are many factors used in determining how a insurance company establishes a rate/quote, way to many to mention here, only a few are: # of past claims/accidents, state in which you live, your age, sex, experience, # moving violations, type and extent of coverage/limits etc. etc.
