I just did it....... I got sick of seeing that little shield in my garage that no-one wanted to buy, and I thought I couldn't use. So, I just had to drill three new holes and modify the other four very slightly........and it fit great!!! You can only see one hole at the bottom. Check it out.............I have compared it with my Cee Bailey shield....excuse the bugs splat 
Much cooler with the warmer weather on me (although not nearly as hot as what you guys ride in down south) It almost feels like there is no shield at all in front of me.
