Have any of you GenIII Farklers removed the stock mirrors yet? I am ready to install the FZ1 mirrors and need to know the procedure to get to the mount nuts on the mirrors. Thanks for your usual great advice.

I kinda like the look of the red mirrors. Maybe I'll try some stick on wide angle dots?

I'll add not to remove the dash panel when the temps are below freezing.

I recently moved and had to postpone the final prep for the winter sleep so the batteries were still in all the bikes. I think it was about -6 or so when I finally got around to doing it.

Gave the 'horns' of the dash panel a little twist to pop the tabs only to hear something crack and the sound of plastic tinkling it's way down through the fairing. *FECK*

I took a look at the mounts on the dash panel and can't see anything broken so I'm going to assume fairing side something broke.

I won't put it back together until spring so it'll be a while until I know whats what.
