Thought I'd pass along to the Austin area Feejrs that these guys have great tire prices. They just outfitted me with Michelin PR2's for $362 out the door. That's less than $300 for the rubber, under $20 per tire installation, $6 tire disposal fee and sales tax. They advertise the best tire prices in central Texas and delivered. They also pre-ordered my recall parts. Down the road at Woods they make you leave your bike before they'll order the parts. I've had no problems with Woods myself but I'd rather not be tied up in the shop longer than necessary.

I ended up buying my fjr from central texas powersport because woods in austin wouldnt quote me a price.
Woods quoted me a price. It's called "MSRP". When I pushed back, they vaguely offered a break on service. Hmmmmmm.... it's a brand new bike, and I do non-warranty work myself. What a screw job deal they were going to give me!

Bought the bike on eBay, from Heinen's in Osseo, MN, and after shipping, paid $1600 below MSRP. Haven't stepped foot in Wood's since. Central Texas all the way!

Excellent. I live in Killeen and will be needing new tires early next year. GREAT to hear about this tip. I know where I'm going now.
