Okay guys.... looks like I'm getting closer to purchasing a new FJR. Looking at new 2010's, '11's and 2013's, are there any differences that I need to be aware of? And what is a good price for a 2013 (excluding tax and title of course)?

Thank you very much for your help and time,

Rexford

There was a major upgrade in 2013. Factory Cruise Control (80 MPH limit), traction control, stiffer suspension, new front fairing and instrument panel.

Check out the FJR Comparison Matrix we encouraged you to review when you signed up. It shares detail differences between years.
Tried to pull up your link.....says that it is damaged. I am running windows 98 and on dial-up so some of the stuff that I try to pull up is not available to me.....sorry to bother, just trying to gain some knowledge before I purchased.

A new '13 should be available for about $13k before taxes, but including freight and dealer fees. Used '10-'12 can be found for $8-12k, depending on accessories and upgrades included. Rule of thumb for value of any add-ons is about 50% of cost new, you may be willing to pay more if you really want that particular extra like a specific windscreen or seat, or less if you really don't want the item or it is not in great condition.

Thank you Alan for your reply..... I will start looking around this are for something.

Have a grand day,

Rex

'14 A's are going for $13,900 all over the place....... you should be able to get a '13 for at least a grand less than that (for new), and used ones even less..... judge '12 or older accordingly, the throttle by wire and cruise moved the needle a notch. You'll need a farkle budget...... I'd say find the max you can afford to spend and go from there. Don't be in a hurry.

And if going with a Gen II, why not hang onto the '08..........

If you plan on keeping it, get the newest FJR you can afford. GEN IIIs definitely have some incremental improvements over the older models...your choice.

Good luck!
