Getting New Tires

Well my stock Metzlers made it 5600 miles before the rear wore out. I was ok with that as I had a new Pirelli waiting in the garage but the disapointing thing is that the front is worn past the 1mm limit also. I was expecting 2 rears to 1 front but guess I didnt get it. Orderd new front Pirelli over the weekend and am expecting to be back on the road in a few days.

Any of you getting 2 to 1 and if so, what are you running.

One-to-one also. The front wasan't worn out, it was cupped.

The stock Metz's wore out within a thou of each other. The Pirelli Diablo Stradas seem to hold up a bit better. I think I'll try one of Michelin's 2CT tires next time.

First set of Metz's lasted about 8k, the Conti Road Attacks have 8k on them now and both are about done. I have a pair of Michelin Pilot Road 2's waiting...will probably need to be mounted within a couple of weeks.
