Anyone have any trouble with the highway mount plate screw hitting the fairing on the right side 2008 any fix other than cutting the fairing. Bummer I leave on Wed. help

Loosen the plastics enough so you can get the small end of the allen wrentch in. Worked for me on my 06 and 07.

I got the screw in however after everything is all tight, that screw hits the fairing right on the edge. I took the screw out and slid the mount plate in, if I put the spacer in the mount hits the fairing so the screw pushes it out another 1/4in. Did your screw end up behind the fairing or on the outside.
