In a few more years: Retirement = wake up to a dirty martini -- at least for the first few months weeks days, just because I can.

Griff's not active much on this Forum or the other one. PM him if you want a riding partner. I've ridden with him several times and recommend him highly. Responsible, safe, and careful, while being efficient at gas stops and a great conversation partner through your comms.

He may want to stop at a dozen bonus locations for BMR or Tour of Honor, but those touring rallies are what get his fire going for the long-distance rides like you're proposing.
