Glove Box: Undocumented Feature

I see posts regularly on this site where owners can't get into their glove boxes due to electrical problems, etc.

Take your key and put it in your pocket. Place both thumbs on the opening "button", near the two ends and press down, pretty hard. The lid will pop open. My dealer showed me this trick when I picked the bike up.

Another reason one of my first lightening procedures was removing and tossing into the junk drawer the solenoid assembly. Now, it opens easily with but one finger, and nothing of value is placed in it trusting to it's poor security to safeguard said valuables.
