Friday, I'm going to break away from Shady Valley and go into Bristol proper for some mega-good chickenwings. They have a full other menu, and everything I've had there is killer. If more than 10 or so people tag along with me, they need to have an extra cook on duty, so I'd like to know in advance how much interest there is.

Sounds good.

Count me in.

Hey!

Where y'all goin' after lunch?

I'd like to join in on that ride!

For that matter, I'd like to join you in Shady Valley before lunch.

I have yet to travel all the way to Boone from Bristol on my bike, but you all might consider VA route 58 toward Mount Rogers and route 16 over to the BRP, that gives you a real nice scenic loop back into Boone if anyone is interested.

421 to 321 to Boone is probably a lot quicker and a great route also.

I just wanted to pitch an alternate journey for entertainment's sake.

Either way I'll be happy just to ride in the very back. :D

What do ya think Slapnpop?

Roger

I've got several other routes that hit 58. Shady valley on Friday is meant to help establish good riding groups, as you can test out who you ride well with.

Count me and Cheryl in too.

Looks like we're gonna have to inform the local authoraties there's gonna be a parade in town.

Okay! ...but if it takes me more than a hundred miles to catch you that won't be fair because your bike has a bigger gas tank than mine.
